Armentine Ruth LeBlanc Leger was born on November 1, 1957, in Lake Charles, Louisiana and passed away September 2, 2026 surrounded by family. Armentine was a kind and loving soul who never met a stranger, because everyone she met quickly became a friend.

Armentine enjoyed visiting the casinos, and playing bingo was one of her favorite pastimes. She also loved to cook and would always ask everyone, with a smile, if her cooking tasted like her mama’s. But above all, her most treasured moments were spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family.

To say that Armentine will be greatly missed would be an understatement. She touched the lives of everyone she encountered and was deeply loved and cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, laughter, and love for her family will remain in their hearts and memories forever.

She is survived by her children, Chad Fisher (Angel) and Jody Fisher (Elizabeth); grandchildren, Addie Fisher (Ashley), Chasity Fisher, Annabelle Fisher, and Ariah Fisher; great-grandchildren, Eli Fisher and Tommy Fisher; siblings, Jean Beavers (Kenny), Linden Primeaux, Richard Primeaux (Cindy), Willis LeBlanc (Denise), David LeBlanc (Carol), and Pamela LeBlanc; godchild, Kenneth Holland; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Leger; her parents, Ruth LeBleu Duhon and William LeBlanc; her sisters, Patricia Botwell and Marie Menard; her brothers, Ray Primeaux and Thomas Primeaux; and her niece and nephews, Robbie Boudreaux, Scottie Watkins, and Shannon Primeaux.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Memorial Hospital ICU Unit for the care, compassion, and kindness shown to our mother and family during her time there.

Armentine’s love and memory will live on through the many lives she touched. She will forever be loved, remembered, and missed.
