Charles David Ramey, Jr.

Charles David "Chuck" Ramey, 65, of Sulphur, LA, passed away peacefully on the evening of December 2nd, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Chuck was born June 23, 1960 to David and Joyce Ramey and attended South Houston High School. Chuck had a career at ConocoPhillips, where he retired as an Operator after 32 years. Chuck was known for his passion for flying planes and riding motorcycles, as well as his love for spending time with his family and friends.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, David and Joyce, and his sister Kathy. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 27 years, Linda Ramey. He also leaves his sister, Darline Mccraw and her husband Mike; daughters, Becky Woodburn and her husband Sammy, Elizabeth Riddle-Smith and Alexis Zirkle and her husband Josh; stepchildren, Jeffrey Free and his wife Michelle, Misty Free, Brianna Perry, Jason Tommasi and his wife Rachelle, and Jeremy Tommasi; his grandson whom he raised as his own, Able Perry and a legacy of 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Chuck's memorial service will be held Dec 20, 2025 at Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur, LA at 11:00AM.
