Connie Hope Dousay has been a life-long resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She passed unexpectedly on October 29, 2024 at the beautiful age of 66 while in her home in her sleep peacefully.
She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on Feb 8, 1958 to the parents of Bonnie Bell Bertrand Ardoin and Oswald Joseph. She graduated from LaGrange Senior High School in 1975. She enjoyed telling stories, singing and dancing along to the classics as the radio blared full blast on Saturday nights. She also loved sitting on her porch and watching the rain fall. She was a Christian, always making sure her family said their prayers before bedtime.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jeff Ardoing and Floyd Ardoin; and two sisters, Veronica Ardoin and Sue Breaux.
Those left to cherish her memory, a daughter, Amanda Dousay; three grandchildren, Alyssa Trahan, Isabelle Adams, and Carver Joseph Dousay; a sister, Brenda Comeaux; numerous nieces and nephews; and Godchildren, Madyson & Brahnsen Lopez and Tracy Kot.
