Duncan Howard Doxey

Duncan was born to J.W. and Joann (Rutherford) Doxey on October 17, 1962. He was the oldest of 4 children. Duncan spent his early years in Cameron then the family later moved to Grand Chenier. He was a graduate of South Cameron High School and Louisiana Technical University in Ruston, La, with an Electrical Engineering degree.

He passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 11th, 2025 at Rosewood Nursing home.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother, and his brother Joseph (Joey) Doxey.

He is survived by his son, Wesley Doxey, his sister Denine Gasway and husband Brad in Albuquerque, New Mexico, his brother Bryan Doxey and wife Teena in Ruston, LA, 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Services to be held at a later date. His cremation has been entrusted to Simple Traditions Johnson's Funeral Home, Lake Charles,La.
