Jacob Wesley Hinton, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 35.Family meant everything to Jacob.

 He deeply loved his mother, Alice Hinton, his brother, Matthew Hinton, and especially his son, Sawyer Hinton.

 Jacob treasured spending time with Sawyer, especially fishing, and teaching him the value of hard work and responsibility. Jacob is survived by his mother, Alice; his son, Sawyer; his brother, Matthew; and many loving cousins, family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Hinton. 

Jacob worked in the refinery industry and was known as a hardworking man. He will also be remembered for his humor, his laughter, and the many lives he touched along the way.

His life was far too short, but the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.

In accordance with Jacob's wishes, he will be cremated. 

A gathering to spread his ashes and celebrate his life will be held at a later date.Rest in peace, Jacob. You will be deeply missed.
