Laura Lyons

Laura Ann Hebert Lyons, age 85, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1940, in Fenton, Louisiana.

Mrs. Lyons was a dedicated and loving mother who consistently placed her family at the center of her life. She enjoyed dancing and cherished the companionship of her beloved Yorkie, Chico, who was by her side for 14 years.

She is survived by her children, Carl Farris, Brian Farris, and Diadra “Dee Dee” Lopez; her grandchildren, Jacob Hoffpauir, Clint Farris, Russell Farris, and Trent Farris; and her sisters, Janevea Cron, Patty McComb, and Penny Boucher.

She was preceded in death by her son, Glyn Burtt; her grandson, C.J. Farris; and her siblings, Anna Martin and Brad Hebert.

A private cremation will take place, followed by a private celebration of her life with close family and friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to Simple Traditions by Johnson.
