Lorraine Fazzio

Lorraine M. Fazzio, 90, passed away peacefully August 14, 2025, in the presence of family. A lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Lorraine was a graduate of St. Charles Academy and a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She worked in the accounting department at McNeese State University.

Her hobbies included bargain shopping for home décor, watching movies and soap operas, reading novels, and working in her yard.

Lorraine was a kind, generous person who brightened your day with her smile. She always had a nice word to say or a compliment to give. She loved spending time with her family, especially the children who always made her laugh. Lorraine delighted in the accomplishments of her great nieces and nephew who considered her to be a "bonus" grandparent. She loved attending their school events and extracurricular activities.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, Jeal A. Fazzio and Gertrude M. Norwood, her twin sister, Elaine Fazzio, and brother in law, Lee A. Sims.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sister, Shirley Sims, nephew, Michael (Melissa) Sims, great nieces Molly( David )Forsyth and Leah (Russell) Sims Krizan, and great nephew Christopher (Rachel) Sims.

A celebratory Mass to be held at a later date.
