Melba Sue Ozeretny

Melba Sue Bills Ozeretny, 87, of Lake Charles passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 in a local healthcare facility.

Mrs. Ozeretny was born April 21, 1938 in Toole, TX, was raised in Dallas, TX and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She found great joy in being a homemaker and her talents as a carpenter as she designed and remodeled her home. She also enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Mrs. Ozeretny will be most remembered for her kindness.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her niece, Linda Stephens (Wayne) of Denham Springs; care takers and dear friends, Amy and Dane Dinger and their family, Susan and Don Pierce and their family and David Lewis. She also leaves her beloved fur babies, Chihuahua, Bentley and cat, Budda.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Bills; mother, Gladys Louise Clyde Davis; stepfather, Lynn Davis and sister, Alma Louise Benton-Wittler.

In respect of her wishes, services were a private memorial gathering.
