Peter DeWayne Olivier

Peter Dewayne Olivier, Sr., 67, of Moss Bluff, LA, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Peter, known by many as Pete, was born on June 1, 1958, in Dry Creek, LA to Rogers Sr. and Evelyn Olivier. He attended East Beauregard School. Pete loved the outdoors, spending a lot of time fishing and hunting, especially in his earlier years. He had a love for woodworking, which inspired him to make many pieces of furniture for his home. He also enjoyed card night with his friends. He was what you would call a Gear Head, and he had a fascination with muscle cars.

Pete is survived by his wife of 36 years, Toni Olivier, sons, Peter Olivier, Jr. (Leslie) and Jared Schell (Jennie). Brothers, Gregory (Roxanne) Olivier and Tye (Amber) Olivier and Sisters, Dana (Darrell) Gill, Kathy (Dennis) Courmier, and Belinda (Randle) Johnson. He also has 6 grandchildren that all loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rogers Sidney Olivier, Sr and Evelyn Reed Olivier, his brother, Rogers Sidney Olivier, Jr., and grandparents Noah and Mersie Reed.

A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday April 25, 2026, at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA. Friends and Family are welcome to attend to honor and celebrate Pete’s life.
