"It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Theresa Ann Conner on Sunday, August 2nd, 2026.

For 35 years she dedicated her life as a teacher, the majority spent in Cameron Parish. Her passion for teaching made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students. She will be lovingly remembered for the kindness, dedication, and care for her family, friends, former students, and countless others she knew in life. Her legacy of passion, strength, and dedication to teaching will live on in the hearts she touched.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Doxey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Dorothy Kohl, as well as her siblings, Mona Bergeron, Michael Kohl, and Marsha Cosby.

Her family appreciates the love, prayers, and support received during this trying time."

Cremation has been entrusted to Simple Traditions by Johnson.
